Soccer Analyst Chris Sutton Battles Singer Olly Murs in Premier League Forecasts
The Gunners' 10-game victorious run was ended by Sunderland prior to the global break, but can the English top division leaders bounce back against local foes Spurs this Sunday?
"{I believe like Arsenal are light years ahead of Tottenham currently but Spurs boss Thomas Frank will have a strategy for this game," remarked soccer expert Chris Sutton.
"The Spurs manager will try to neutralize Arsenal, who have not always been at their sparkling finest this campaign - but Mikel Arteta's team typically still find a way to win."
The analyst is making predictions for all 380 Premier League fixtures this season, versus artificial intelligence, readers and a variety of special visitors.
For the twelfth round, he faces performer Olly Murs, who is a United supporter.
Murs' latest album, Knees Up, is available on the weekend.
Football and Family Life
Olly is a talented footballer as well as a accomplished artist and has been a star of multiple charity football games over time - but he is not intending a professional comeback as a player.
"{I actually played in a benefit match the other night for a friend of mine," he explained. "My side was losing 3-1 when I came off in the 60th minute, and they proceeded to win 4-3, so you can interpret that what you will!
"I continue to love football, but I hurt my joint a few years ago and it still hasn't fully recovered. I wish I could play more but the unpredictability of the game means it's too dangerous for me in my profession to do it properly again.
"Plus I am 41 now, and we are not all Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very happy not playing football and I am gearing up for the moment that my daughter or boy decides to play instead."
Murs and his wife his partner have two children, Madison and their son, and he is prepared to emulate his dad by taking on the role of their coach.
"I will not force football on our children but I've already told my wife that if they happen to get the passion for it then I will have to go and get my manager qualifications - and I will probably be coaching their weekend soccer side," he said.
"I observed my nephews play a lot, and I truly got into it, and I obviously was involved with a soccer team for a while too.
"My dad did it with us when I was a kid, which is probably where I inherited it. He managed our team for several years and had a wonderful time with it. That could be the future for me as well, and I am excited to it!"

- Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT
Chelsea might have to wait a bit longer for Cole Palmer's return from fitness issues but their attack is now stronger with Joao Pedro and Liam Delap both back fit.
In my opinion this fixture will be fairly close, however. Burnley are disciplined and their only home defeats so far have been against the Reds and the Gunners.
This suggests a one-all tie to me, but I am actually going to choose Chelsea to win narrowly for what would be their third Premier League win in a row.
The expert's prediction: 1-2
The singer's pick: The Blues will be too strong. 1-3
AI's outlook: 0-2
- Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT
The Cherries have been defeated in their previous couple games - although both of them were on the road - but they got thoroughly beaten by Aston Villa last time out which surprised me.
On the other hand, the Hammers secured back-to-back victories before the international break and, although both of those games were at their stadium, they do look competitive again.
West Ham's only away victory this campaign came at Forest in August, when West Ham manager Nuno Espirito Santo was still that team's manager.
Therefore, what exactly do I predict here - can West Ham extending their streak under their manager, or the home side responding?
I will go with Bournemouth, because I believe what occurred against Aston Villa was a blip.
The pundit's forecast: 2-0
Olly's outlook: The home team are doing well but West Ham have picked up under their boss. 2-2
AI's pick: 1-1
- Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT
Brentford were considered one of the favourites for relegation before the season started, but they have surprised a several observers under Keith Andrews and are in fine fettle with three in their last four games.
My son told me to select Brentford striker Thiago in my Fantasy Football squad a few weeks back and, unfortunately, I didn't listen.
The forward will probably score again on the weekend but I am still not going to pick him or support the away side at Amex Stadium.
The Bees have not had much success on the road this season, and Brighton are consistently decent at their stadium. The visitors will attempt to hit them on the counter-attack but I think Fabian Hurzeler's side pose much more of a threat.
Sutton's forecast: 2-1
Olly's prediction: It could be one of those games where you think there is going to be a lot of goals but it in reality turns out to be rather tight. 1-1
The computer's outcome: 2-1
- Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT
This is a massive fixture for Fulham, who have suffered defeat in five of their last six games.
Fulham have got plenty of quality in their squad but it still seems like they could be dragged into a relegation fight.
As for the Black Cats, indeed they are the unexpected success of the Premier League season so far.
Their performance in the 2-2 tie with the Gunners last time out was superb. We've not seen anyone else disrupt the Gunners like that this season, and Sunderland were more than a match for them.
The logical choice to do to back the visitors here, because they are clearly capable of disrupting the hosts up too and, the previous occasion they were in this part of London, they defeated the Blues at the close of last month.
But I am not choose that. Instead, I truly need to carry on going against Sunderland with my predictions. I am taking a lot of credit for their positive results because they clearly enjoy to prove me wrong.
Looking at Fulham's at Craven Cottage record, the only team they have been defeated by is Arsenal. Their manager's team will be absolutely desperate for a good outcome, so I am going to predict they will secure three points.
Sutton's prediction: 1-0
The guest's prediction: I'm aware Sunderland are performing strongly and additionally that the hosts are on a poor run... but they have still been respectable at Craven Cottage this campaign. 2-0
AI's prediction: 2-0

This is a hard fixture to predict. The Reds have lost seven of their past 10 games in all competitions, but might they be among the sides who benefit from the {international break|
