Fresh particulars have surfaced regarding the untimely passing of acclaimed filmmaker Rob Reiner and photographer Michele Singer Reiner, whose remains were discovered at their residence residence on Sunday.

The Alarm

According to a report referencing a family associate, a practitioner scheduled for an session was the first to notice something was wrong after failing to get inside the residence. This individual then contacted the couple's daughter, Romy Reiner, who resides in the vicinity.

When she went into the house, Romy discovered her father's body. Reports state she then exited the property overwhelmed with grief, without knowing at that moment that her mother's body was there as well. Another individual who had gone with her contacted 911. Following this, first responders discovered Michele Singer Reiner's body.

Legal Proceedings

Law enforcement have charged the couple's 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner, with the charges of premeditated murder, as well as the alleged use of a deadly weapon, said to be a knife. He is currently detained and denied bail.
